The Midnight sun In Tromsø, Norway. Ref Title: Sun-1. This photo was taken at about 1.30am coming down from Nordfjellet (The North mountain). Interestingly the light made this beautiful red-pink effect on the Sherpa stairs going up to Nordfjellet and I had to get the timing for this photo just right.
Bergen nightlife. Ref Title: Ber-1. Viewed from the top of Fløyen in Bergen, Norway, this incredible sight can be seen of the city filled with life.
The Misty Web. Ref Title: Web-1. Early one misty morning in Tønsberg, Norway, I noticed this spider-web covered in dew and refracting the light in these stunning little beads. Had to get a photo of it!
The Misty Web 2. Ref Title: Web-2. I had to get a second photo of this web in Tønsberg, Norway.
Moldavian Monkshood (Aconitum moldavicum). Ref title: Mol-1. While visiting a botanical garden in Tromsø, Norway, the light refracted off tiny 'hairs' in a unique way off these flowers, giving them an almost mysterious 'glow' as you see here.
Morning light. Ref title: Mor-1. On cool, crisp mornings on Notterøy, Norway, you can travel through the forest where as the sunlight pierces through the trees, the rays can be traced through the mist.
Sverd i fjell (Sword in mountain). Ref Title: Sve-1. In Stavanger, Norway, you will find three gigantic swords piercing the very earth itself... Swords taller than 5 people standing on top of each other!
Autumn view. Ref Title: Aut-1. Here we join the deer gazing out through the autumn afternoon down to Bergen Sentrum below.
Ulriken. Ref Title: Ulr-1. The view from the top of Mt. Ulriken in the latter part of winter, reminding us in Norway that the sunlight will return.
Autumn path. Ref Title: Aut-2. When going up Mt. Fløyen, you can catch this incredible sight when the sun hits the trees just right.
Somewhere in the Lofoten Islands. Ref Title: Lof-1. In many areas of the Lofoten Islands of Northern Norway, you'll find places of wonder and awe at almost every turn!
Polar stratospheric clouds (PSC). Ref title: PSC-1. On the way to work in Bergen, Norway, I noticed this dazzling display in the morning sky. PSCs are formed when the conditions are just right for small ice crystals to refract light and allow us to see these types of incredibly colorful displays.
